INVITATION
A Choice That Must Be Made Today & What If It Is True
In the journey of life YOU were walking down the street one day, YOU meet a man who invited YOU to give your life to Christ and join a Family Fellowship in your community but you refused the invitation.
Whenever you passed the area and YOU deliberately cross the road to the other side in order to avoid and ignore the man. YOU got home to receive the news of some friends that were tragically hit by a truck in their car and all died.
In the night you slept and found Yourself arriving in heaven and was met by St. Peter at the entrance.
“Welcome to heaven,” says St. Peter. “Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high number of people around these parts you see, so we’re not sure what to do with you.”
“No problem, just let me in,” YOU said

“Well, I’d like to replied St Peter, but I have orders from the higher ups. What we’ll do is have YOU spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then YOU can choose where to spend eternity.”
“Really?, I’ve made up my mind. I want to be in heaven,” YOU again replied.
“I’m sorry, but we have our rules.”
And with that, St. Peter escorts YOU to the elevator and there You went down, down, down to hell.
The doors open and YOU find yourself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are all his friends and others who had worked with YOU and refused the invitation and request.
Everyone was very happy and in evening dress. They ran to greet him, shook his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich and enjoying life as it were. You all played friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and the finest champagne.
Also present was the devil, who really was a very friendly guy who was having a good time dancing and telling jokes.
You were all having such a good time that before YOU realized it, it is time to go.
Everyone gives YOU a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator rises…
The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens in heaven where St. Peter is waiting for YOU, “Now it’s time to visit heaven..”
So, 24 hours passed with YOU joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. You all had a good time and, before YOU realized it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.
“Well, then, you’ve spent a day in hell and another in heaven.
Now choose your eternity.”
YOU reflected for a minute, then answered: “Well, I would never have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful with the easy, peaceful and cool cloud and lifestyle, but I think I would be better off in hell with my friends enjoying ourselves.”
So St. Peter escorts YOU to the elevator and there it goes down, down, down to hell..
Now the doors of the elevator open and YOU find yourself in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage. YOU saw all your so called friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash fell from above. You saw on their faces excruciating pain that could not be explained. Smoke coming out their bodies from a burning heat that can not be seen with ordinary eyes.
The devil comes over to YOU and puts his arm around your shoulders and said the last time YOU came and saw us enjoying; it was all fake and false. We had to pretend, lay our strategies in order to get YOU and many more to share in our pains, sorrow and regrets.
“I don’t understand,” YOU stammered. “Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there’s just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable. What happened?”
The devil smiles at YOU and says,
“Yesterday WE were calling and Today, YOU answered.”
